Christian Brandon,

Youth Minister

Christian Brandon became the Youth Director on August 27, 2017.

"I feel that my ministry focuses on building relationships and having discipleship with students.  While sermons are constructive for presenting students with scripture, the greatest ministry is done through action.  Through action, students can see through how the Christian life looks as leaders serve alongside them.  Nowadays, I think people have the impression that the person you are at church is separate from the person you are the rest of your waking life.  I believe I can show students that this is far from the truth; they can live bountiful lives through Christ.  Through discipleship and personal relationships with students, I feel I can accomplish just that."

Tim Kemp,

Music Minister

Tim Kemp became our Music Minister on February 1, 2018.

Tim is a native of Central Texas and has been serving in music ministry for almost 40 years. He loves to see people joining together and raising their voices in praise to God. Tim is married to Donna and has two sons: Dane and Brandon. All four of them are graduates of the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Tim also graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Music degree in 1993.

"We are so glad to be a part of the family here at Heights. We are growing to love them more every day and love their spirit of fellowship and mission to Temple, Tx!"

Victoria Jones,

Church Secretary

Victoria became the Church Secretary on June 6, 2017.

After working in the corporate world for more than 30 years as an administrative assistant, she made the move to serving God as a church secretary.  In her words - "This isn't just a job for me, it is my ministry.  I do my best to live by

Romans 10:14-15:  But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, 'How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!' God calls all of us to bring the good news to everyone. It is my job to make sure people have a chance to hear it so that they might believe."
